The Edna Ferber Fiction Book Award is given to the best fiction book published by a Wisconsin writer in the previous year. The prize, which is sponsored by the Arts + Literature Laboratory, is $500 plus a five-day stay at Shake Rag Alley Center for the Arts. The reading and celebration of all the Wisconsin Writers Awards, which is free and open to the public, is scheduled for Saturday, May 20, 2023, at 6 pm at the Arts + Literature Laboratory in Madison, Wisconsin, at 111 S. Livingston Street, Suite 100.
